The question of which religion is apparently the “best” has been debated for thousands and thousands of years, but a question like this is fortunately full of flaws. In a world of completely different, diverse religions and belief systems, one's own beliefs are shaped by his or her own bias’s, influences, experiences, and fate. Each religion has its own stories, and ways of understanding life, death, and the purpose of being a human being.
Religion is something everyone views as something very personal, especially if you’re a completely religious person who participates in religious related activities. A reason why there is no such thing as “best religion” is because everyone is raised in a different way by in a broader view their parents, of course; and the way how a person's views on the teachings can be.
Say Christianity, I’m not a believer of Christianity, but from what I’ve learned in school, there are many different types of ways people interpret the bible. Some believe you must follow the teachings of the bible, some might say their God Jesus is from within and you must create a deep and meaningful relationship with him, etc. But, all of this yells out something in common, not just Christianity, but all religions always yell out, “BE GOOD, BE NICE, BE HARDWORKING AND CARING”. Doesn’t it?
People always argue, “MY RELIGION IS THE BEST” or something like “ONLY GOD EXISTS” or “ONLY BUDDHA EXISTS”. People would start to get violent over these beliefs of who is superior to one another. But let’s take a step back here, Buddhism has the 8 Noble Truths, Christianity has the 10 Commandments, etc. If we all were to argue about such a delusional question leading to us throwing hands and harming each other, wouldn’t that just throw dirt on the teachings of what our gods and ancestors have taught us about our teachings?
As a person, it doesn’t matter what belief system you believe in. In order to settle this question that's full of flaws in the most meaningful way. Instead of thinking of which religion is the best, we should all focus on what good can the teachings of our diverse religions make the world a better place.
In the end, no one truly knows the answers to life’s biggest questions. This is why the world contains so much knowledge about different types of religions. Each pathway offers us a way to understand the phenomenon of the world. We should all stick to our principles of our teachings, and with these teachings overcome our obstacles that we ourselves have to overcome, then discuss topics that can bring suffering and sorrow to a person. That’s why it's important to respect all religions and understand that everyone's beliefs are personal in their own meaningful way.
