As most if not all of you should know that there was a recent election in which some people were surprised while others were not as much in who had won the 2024Â election. In which Republican candidate Donald J. Trump had won against his biggest rival Democrat candidate Kamala Harris with 312 electoral votes.
Though in most elections most news outlets talk about the two major candidates Democrat and Republican, there were also other third-party candidates such as Jill Stein of the Green Party and Chase Oliver of the Libertarian. They were both candidates they both together received no electoral votes which truly decide on who becomes the president of the United States of America and not the popular vote. Additionally, they did not create a spoiler effect, in which a third-party candidate "hogs" votes from two primary candidates, creating a disproportional number of votes allotted.
When speaking about the election we must speak about the various policies behind Donald Trump as he has different plans and acts from incubant Joe Biden. Therefore, once he enters office in January, his plans may contradict Biden's and Harris', but can also be similar.
Though election day has finished, many people were surprised at how fast the outcome had come as many people had predicted the counting of ballots to take weeks for them to be counted. Ultimately, however, the election was quick as lightning. Though I would like to hear all your opinions about the end result of the election and hope to see everyone next time.
